Ruvre
Well... It took some time to realize this project. The idea has evolved to another dimension as technology and habits changed a lot during the past years. Along with that, need and search for unique artisan objects is still there.
Two of my friends with vast social media and e-commerce experience came up with an idea; launching a web site to provide and sell artisan objects from where they have connections to the artists and local producers. Basics does match!
I believe that this is a good startup and can pave the way to what I dreamed about years ago. This is why I support them as a friend, consultant and marketer. In a few weeks ruvre.com will be online with so many objects from artisans living in Istanbul, Florence, Bodrum, Bologna, Gaziantep and Sao Paulo.
I'll keep you posted...

Legitimate?
Well, it looks that this project will take some time... I was not expecting a quick realization anyway.
I had e-discussions with Avniye Tansuğ, the only legal consular in Turkey who specialized in e-commerce, about the legal part of the project. We were also talking about this with Rico for a long time. At the end of the day, this project needs to be legitimate in order to avoid "system generated errors".
Since October 2010, I have been living in Dubai and after a quick search I can say that that Backpackers Flea Market may have an office in Dubai Internet City, which is a Free Zone, just to cover the legal part without damaging the nature of the project and ideals.
Now it is time to focus on its systematic and prepare a proper project plan.
Hope to meet you soon...

A New Project...
After iGOA, which is an interactive agency that I found the very inital idea, I have another interesting and unusual idea... this time it is less commercial - more useful.
As you may understand from the blog's name, it is an online flea market. However, it is going to be different, enjoyable, useful with a bit of social responsibility. Idea "clicked" to me when I was in Goa, India as a result of the lifestyle and social environment which I was a part of.
Anyway, now I need some to realize it... support of friends is more than welcomed and will be appreciated :)
Until backpackersfleamarket.com will go online I will share related news and updates here. Well... of course all possible online marketing tools will be used during it's launch, including this blog.
See you soon...
